Saskatchewan

Land of the living skies and our beloved province. Also the only province we have ever lived in but still, we couldn't see ourselves living anywhere else. At first we never thought of moving to this province, the only thing we had heard about it was that it's flat, really cold and was covered with endless grain fields. That's why we were a little bit shocked to find out that our job offer was in SK!
Were we ever wrong! Yes the winters are cold and you will find endless grain fields but there is so much more than that. Beautiful provincial parks, an abundance of lakes and the further north you go the greener it gets. It's also far from flat and just a walk in our own backyard can be a serious hike.
Saskatchewan is also an affordable province, house prices have gone up but it's still a lot better than most provinces. It would have been really hard to build everything that we have in a province like Alberta or BC.
